When you own a vehicle, you will want to keep it in the best condition possible. By having regular maintenance done, we can alert you to any issues your vehicle might have. If you are not sure how often to bring the vehicle in, make sure to contact us. We can recommend a schedule for you. By following the maintenance schedule for your vehicle, you can help keep it operating efficiently and at top performance levels when you drive. There are some things you can also check by yourself between visits. This can include oil changes and inspection of the tires. If you notice anything that is out of the norm with the vehicle, it is always recommended to schedule an appointment. This can help you to reduce time, money, and stress in the long run.

The tires should be inspected regularly so that they are properly inflated. If the tire is under inflated, it can lead to a blow out as you drive. Tires that are over inflated can be more prone to pick up sharp objects on the surface of the road. Tires that are not properly inflated can also lead to the tread wearing unevenly. You may notice low tread by placing a penny upside down in the treat groove. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then it is time to have the tires replaced. You can also bring in the vehicle and we can inspect the tires and tread for you. We can also rotate or align the tires if needed. This will help improve how the tread wears on each tire as you drive. By noticing an issue with the tires right away, you can help prevent premature wear with them.

Also take a few minutes and have the fluids inspected as well. The oil is important because it helps to lubricate parts of the engine so it will operate efficiently and at top performance levels. If the oil is not changed when it is recommended, then dirt and other pollutants can get into the oil. Make sure to follow the recommended oil change schedule so the best quality oil is always in your vehicle. You can also bring your vehicle in and we can advise you when an oil change would be needed. We can also check the oil filter on your vehicle. This will allow fresh clean oil to transfer through your vehicle and capture the dirt and contaminants in it. Having the vehicle inspected will help improve the overall performance of it when you drive.
