slow

Driving in the winter can sometimes be difficult and tricky at times. You will have to drive through snow, ice, sleet, and even freezing rain at times. The most important thing you can do is to slow down when you are driving. This way you can prepare yourself for any type of road condition you might encounter. It is recommended to check the weather and road conditions before you travel. Doing so will help you to know how you should drive. This should include the speed and how much distance between vehicles you leave.

Tire Check

The tires on the vehicle should be fully inspected. The first thing to do is check the air pressure. Tires that are over or under inflated can lead to issues, damage, or failure. Since they might blow out suddenly, you should also make sure that you check the spare tire of your vehicle as well. You will need to use the spare tire until the regular one can be repaired. If the tire leaks air frequently, bring it in so we can inspect it for you. Sometimes the valve or even the rims will lead to an air leak. You should also check for any damage such as bulges or cracks on them. The tread will also need to be inspected. Tread is important because it helps how the vehicle hands on the road.

Fluids

Remember to check the fluids of the vehicle. This should also include the windshield washer fluid. The washer fluid will help remove any road grime or slush that splatters on the windshield of your vehicle. In the winter, snow or spray can get onto the windshield of your vehicle. This can lead to it smearing and reducing your visibility. By having the correct amount of washer fluid, you can help keep the windshield clean and clear.
