Proper care of the tires can also mean improving the safety of your vehicle. If you notice any issues with the tires, you will want to bring it in as soon as possible for an inspection. Each tire should be inspected to help ensure that they are in the best condition possible when you drive. If you are not sure how often the vehicle should be brought in, make sure to contact us. We can advise you on the appropriate schedule that it should be inspected for.

Proper care

Make sure that you check each tire of the vehicle and take good care of them. When you do so, check the air pressure. This is to help make sure that when you travel, the tires are correctly filled with air and will rotate smoothly. If a tire is under inflated, it has a greater chance of blowing out when you are driving. When a tire is over inflated, it can be more prone for picking up sharp objects on the surface of the road. When a tire becomes low often, you will want to bring it in so we can inspect it for you.

Tread wear and tear

The tread is another important part of the tires that should be checked. When tread is low, you will notice poor handling on the road when you drive. This can include taking corners, stopping, or even driving straight. No matter what issue you notice with the handling, always make sure that you schedule an appointment. When something is out of the norm, fixing it will help reduce wear and damage to the various parts of it as well. You can check the tread quickly by just using a penny. Place it upside down in the groove of the tire. If you see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the vehicle will need new tires. It is always best to bring the vehicle in so we can check them for you as well.
