Traveling This Holiday Season

Since traveling will be increasing in the upcoming months, you will want to make sure your vehicle is working properly. When there is an issue with your vehicle, you will want to make sure that you contact us. This way we can inspect the vehicle and the issue. Always remember to bring your vehicle in for regular maintenance and inspections. Doing so will help keep it working efficiently and it improves the safety. If you ignore problems or issues, it will only become worse and more costly.

Safety check before Traveling

You will want to check the tires before traveling this season. This way they can be in the best condition as you travel. Make sure to check the air pressure on all of them. You will want them to be at the correct amount indicated in the vehicle owner’s manual. If you are not sure, you can also contact us. Besides the air pressure, check the tread wear for each tire. If the tires are not rotating evenly, then the tread will not wear evenly either. You will want to follow recommended tire rotations and alignments for them. Doing so can help keep them lasting as long as possible.

Remember to check the lights of the vehicle as well. When traveling, you will probably need to have the lights on at some point during your drive. You need to check the headlights, taillights, and blinkers of the vehicle. This way others can see where you are at when you are driving. When these work correctly, your safety can be improved because others can see when you are turning. If a blinker or light is not operating correctly, make sure to schedule an appointment with us. We will check the vehicle to help ensure that it can be safe and reliable for when you need to drive this winter.
